Dillon, day 169 of my life in DC! Monday, 26 March 2017

I’m starting to figure out they call it March Madness for a reason. Saturday it was almost 80 degrees, Sunday was cold and crappy, and today it was beautiful again. What is going on? I’m outside doing my own thing either way, but it would be nice if I could go outside in the morning without having to wonder what the weather will be. I thought today was going to be a bummer because it was foggy and misty when I got up. To tell you the truth, it wasn’t very warm either. So, Micky and I sat in the house all morning trying to mooch chewy treats off of Mom. She’s usually good for one or two, but eventually, that well runs dry. So, we ventured back outside. What do you know? All the fog was gone and it was nice and warm. The sun even came out. You know what that means, right? It’s squirrel huntin’ time and Micky and I were ready to roll. There’s a key benefit of a nice warm day. That door between us and the varmints out back stays open all day. We get to come and go whenever we want. So, once we chase all critters out of the yard, Micky and I can come inside and snooze on the couch. It doesn’t mean we aren’t watching, it just means we’re comfortable while we wait.
